Purchased a $98 copper Thompson Cuff. Beautiful craftsmanship, but the manufacturer seriously misrepresents its versatility.
Failed to protect me from electromagnetic radiation, nearly burned my arm off during a ski-lift evacuation, and provided absolutely no flotation assistance in quicksand.
To add insult to injury, it turns my wrist purple on odd days of the week, and chartreuse on even...
On the positive side, the bracelet survived all three incidents, so I suppose their lifetime warranty is legitimate.
UPDATE: A gay barista at Starbucks complimented what he mistakenly believed was a bronze bracelet, then wrote his cell phone number on the bottom of my pumpkin spice latte with extra sprinkles.
So apparently the bracelet does possess certain magnetic properties after all.
Five stars. Would purchase again.
Perfect!
Cuff is nice & solid. Was going to order from Vera's Copper at first, but wanted to be sure to get a quality American made product. Have already ordered another cuff from you.
I think my review title describes it perfectly. There’s something authentic about copper jewelry, especially a thick slab like the vintage work patina Thompson. I have a substantial sterling silver collection with one stainless steel bracelet. A copper bracelet just made sense. I match it with my sterling silver Thompson. I’ve been a long time customer of Studebaker Metals. A must for a gentleman’s wardrobe!
Super cool company.
